natalie miller british female voiceover about

About Natalie Miller

Hi, I’m Natalie. I am a full time British female voiceover with a cool, husky and modern sound.

I’m based in beautiful Cornwall where I work from my own broadcast quality home studio (or I am more than happy to travel around the UK to you if required). Despite living here for most of my life I haven’t picked up the accent though – I have a Southern Neutral British accent.

What it's like to work with me

What really matters to me is providing the best possible voice over service I can for my clients, no matter how big or small the job might be. You are putting your trust in me to represent your business – something you have no doubt worked very hard to build – and I always feel privileged to be the voice you choose to use.

I love my job and try to show this in my work and relationships with my clients. I am vibrant, reliable and easy to work with. There are lots of voiceover artists available to use so when someone chooses me, I go the extra mile for them.

A little about my experience

I am probably most recognised as the female imaging and s&p voiceover for the Capital FM network, something I am hugely proud of and really enjoy doing. Previous to this I was one of the female station voices for the UKRD group and have also voiced imaging and s&p for many other radio groups worldwide.

As well as being an experienced station voice you can hear me on numerous radio commercials and TV commercials, corporate training videos, promotional videos, audio tours, announcements, in-store radio and on hold phone systems.

How I became a voiceover

Before starting my career as a voiceover, I worked in sales at my local commercial radio station. Even though I enjoyed my job, it just didn’t feel right. I liked it but I didn’t love it.

One day I had the opportunity to voice a script and instantly I knew that it was what I wanted to do. I loved it. It felt great to put the enthusiasm I had for my clients’ businesses into the finished product through my voice.

With the knowledge and contacts I gained from working at the station I set out on improving my skills and performance and then building my recording studio. This was over 12 years ago and I love the job more than ever.
